Cancel your reservation without getting charged
There’s nothing worse than having to cancel your hotel room and still being charged for it. The best way to avoid this unnecessary charge is to call the hotel and ask to change your booking to a later date. Then, call back later on (hopefully speaking to a different employee) and cancel it with them – you shouldn’t incur a fee as you’ve pushed back the date, and with it the cancellation time.
